26 April 2026 | PSA met with peace committees from Xarfo, Bursalax, and Balibusle to develop and strengthen participatory early warning processes and reinforce a more community-led approach.
The focus was on how peace committees can involve communities in identifying risks, understanding early warning signals, and ensuring that information is analyzed and shared in a timely and practical way.
Peace committees also explained how early warning information reaches them and the sources they rely on, noting that much of it comes directly from community observations and changes they see on the ground.
