In line with the ongoing rehabilitation project on children associated with armed forces or groups (CAAFAG) being implemented by PSA in partnership with UNICEF, on 03-08 September 2019 we conducted psycho-social counselling workshop for social workers. The training was part of the capacity building on caseworkers in order to improve and advance their skills on Psychosocial counseling

PSA/UNHCR supported MOWDAFA conducted community dialogue session, which was an interactive participatory communication process of sharing information between people or groups of people aimed at reaching a common understanding and workable solution on GBV prevention and response. The event was attended by 100 (10 M & 90 F) participants drawn from Bosaso IDPs.

On 29th August 2019, PSA held its graduation ceremony for 70 Children Associated with Armed Forces and Groups (CAAFAG) Children at the PSA rehabilitation centre Garowe. The trainees were conferred with certificates and awarded with start-up kits in recognition of their outstanding hard work and discipline. The 70 CAAFAG Children underwent a robust vocational skill

In 2019, PSA is implementing relief Program through CBT modalities to improve food security of the drought affected communities through food distribution interventions in Bossaso IDPs and surrounding villages.
